I’m currently on a Seth Godin kick. Godin is a smart guy and he has a lot of great ideas that transform your business.

One of his ideas is the “Purple Cow.” You can read some excerpts here.

The idea behind the purple cow is that we get bored with the ordinary. Every day, we’re exposed to thousands of marketing messages (the brown cows), and our brain filters out most of those as irrelevant.

The human brain likes something new. A purple cow that gets our attention.

Most chiropractic offices are brown cows. A purple cow chiropractic office would be one that does something unusual, something that would get one’s attention.
