I [...]]]> Many years ago, I had an episode of back pain for the first time in my life. I know it’s not an unusual thing to experience back pain (a third of all adults have an episode of back pain every year, after all), but it was new for me, and I really didn’t like it.

I don’t really like to use over-the-counter drugs if I can help it, but the pain was difficult to deal with, so I looked up a chiropractor in my area and made an appointment. My friends had sworn by the benefits of chiropractic and this was my time to give it a try.

My chiropractor was great. She did a thorough exam, asked me a lot of questions, adjusted me in a few areas, and suggested some stretches that I could do at home.

And voilà! With just one treatment, I felt instantly better and within a few days, my back was well, back to normal.

Ever since that time, I’ve realized what a great thing chiropractic is and it frustrates me that so many people have so many misconceptions about chiropractic and don’t realize the benefits of it.

Our goal with this blog is to educate people about the benefits of chiropractic and provide some free resources that chiropractors can use to get the word out.
